Snail and slug problems? Here is the solution. All 100% organic if you use a glue stick and salt and so easy. Just rub some glue in two strips just in-board of the 4 entry doors from hinge fastening to hinge fastening and sprinkle liberally with the salt. It takes no time at all and is very easy and ever so effective.

Rodents are quite happy to lick salt so it will not make them shy or hesitant to enter the bait station. In fact if they are salt deficient in their environment they will seek out salt.

The cost of replacing baits eaten by snails and slugs are many and varied.
If baits are absent-(taken by snails) then rodent control is lowered or is zero.
Bait replacement is necessary where slugs/snails have eaten baits- if the baits are ok I leave them for another month-if they are not mouldy, all dried out or oxidised and un-palatable.
Cost of replacement of slug/snail eaten baits are: Baits $4-5:00. Time on site $20:00+hour.
Travel to site $fuel, $time, $wear/tear etc on vehicles. So if rodents are persisting because snails/slugs are eating all the baits they will cost you time and money.
